The train will make two night runs at 7 and 8:30 p.m., stopping at several points where re-enactors will retell the story of Jackson and Centenary College during the Civil War. Rolling through the deep woods after dark is a thrilling and surreal experience not to be missed. The Greater Baton Rouge Model Railroaders will also open their model train exhibit for special "night runs" on their layouts, including the outdoor Little Hickory Railroad. Held on the grounds of the Old Hickory Railroad these annual Scottish games attract thousands to view the athletic events, savor the good food and, of course, ride the train.
